Yoga and Ayurveda are inseparable sisters, with Yoga as a spiritual science and Ayurveda as a system of medicine and healing. Ayurvedic science of health can nourish the body so a productive yoga practice can be developed. They both originate as part of a greater system of Vedic knowledge and are based on the principles of pranayama (yogic breath control) and encompass an understanding of how the body works through the doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha). Explore your relationship with these ancient, complimentary practices that aim to inform the particular needs of individuals seeking balance in body, mind and spirit.
